Patient Assistance Program Module |

The
Patient Assistance Program (PAP) also referred to as Medication Assistance Program, Module allows you to submit
applications to the pharmaceutical company requesting needed
medication. Applications are included with this module. Track when an
application was submitted, the current status and when the drugs were
received. You can then print a custom letter advising the patient that
the medication has arrived in your clinic.
Our new PAP 4 version also includes batch re-ordering and printing of applications. When you choose to re-order apps, you are asked for a date range in which the apps are due to be re-ordered. There is no limit to the number of apps that can be ordered at one time. So if you re-order 75 apps at a single time, you can print them at that time or choose to print later. You may want to print to a dedicated print server or when you leave for the day and have the apps waiting on you the following day.
When adding a new app for a patient, you can now add up to 8 drugs at a single time for a patient. These drugs can be from different pharmaceutical companies and/or programs. Then you can print all 8 applications with a single click.
If the prescription module has been purchased, you can create and print a application with one click after adding a prescription.
You can also automatically schedule a task to re-order the medication
in the future (this is only available if you have the Scheduling
Module). This will ensure that the submission of the application
will not be overlooked in the future.
When re-submitting applications, you can simply double click the Add
button and the entire application will be reproduced so you will not
have to fill in all the data again. The only data you will need to
verify is the 'Order Date'.
Our Prescription Assistance Program module also includes all the
Pharmaceutical Company's demographics including their eligibility
requirements for the program, drugs covered, comments and more.
MedServices PAP module allows for an application per program. For
example, Bristol Myers has multiple programs. We now print each
application as it applies to each of the available programs.
Also with this program, you have the option to print the prescription
to be included with the application. In addition, you can
print a mailing label or an envelope for mailing the application to the
pharmaceutical company.
Run reports based on patient name, drug requested, pharmaceutical
company and more. When the medication has been received, it is then
recorded into our drug module for inventory tracking..
There are over 160 different Pharmaceutical applications which
are kept current on a weekly basis. With our
built in Live Update, you will stay current with all the applications.
