MedServices Rx
Our new MedServices Rx software was re-designed with the help of consultant pharmacists. Our prescription module is fully integrated with MedServices STAT EMR, MedServices Central EMR and MedServices WinPAP products. It is a must have for any dispensary that wishes to order the medications through the Pharmaceutical Companies' assistance programs.
MedServices Rx is a fully functional prescription software for dispensaries to track prescriptions and fills for a patient. MedServices Rx comes with a complete master drug database, drug to drug interactions, duplicate therapy checks, patient education handouts, allergy checking and more.
Patient education is written at a 6th-8th grade reading level and OBRA-compliant, patient education sheets are available in both English and Spanish. Dosage-form specific information for U.S. prescription and OTC drugs are included. This helps patients understand how to follow a safe drug regimen by providing detailed information. Some examples include: what the medication is used for, how the medication should be taken, drug interactions and side effects.
After adding a prescription, you can send this prescription directly through the MedServices WinPAP with one click of the mouse. The current pharmaceutical company application will print. Simply sign the application and mail it in.
