Below is a summary of some of our features and advantages:
STATNOTE FEATURE
Our STATNOTE feature allows the user to compose an accurate and comprehensive casenote entry in just seconds in many different ways.
Inkable Text Note This proprietary feature enables the user to write in script directly onto a text STATNOTE template. This combines the flexibility of freehand annotation with the legibility and uniformity of text. STATNOTES eliminates redundant manual casenote composition. Only the variables need to be inserted to create a comprehensive and accurate entry. This saves valuable chair time and eliminates errors. STATNOTES are automatically prompted at the completion of an associated procedure.
Other advantages of STATNOTES include:
Radiographic films displayed in-line with their related casenotes for:
- root canal therapy
- oral pathologies
- periodontal diagnosis / treatment
- implant cases
- extractions
- crown inserts
Case study / documentation easily reviewed for:
- full mouth rehabilitation
- orthodontics
- periodontics
- tooth whitening
- emergency treatment
All information is easily presented for insurance requests for narratives / post op.
Data superior organization / presentation of vital patient information in the event of
malpractice litigation The Sentry Feature DataNet Dental Software's Sentry feature provides the highest level of protection against human error and negligence.
Electronic verification forms are automatically prompted, and require the patient sign off (directly on the tablet P.C. screen with the stylus) on vital information such as medical history update and pre-medication verification. All forms are then automatically stored as read only in that patients record. Our Landmark Pathology feature enables the clinician to re-create a patients pathology / lesion on any of nine pre-rendered images of the oral and peri-oral anatomy in a myriad of colors. A notepad which accompanies these images, allows for a comprehensive description in either script or text. The clinician may also add Ink notations to photos and radiographs and enter them into the Landmark Pathology alert. If not de-activated within a two week period, the alert is seen upon all user log-ins to ensure proper follow-up care or referral. Large, easy to use procedure entry pads
The Restoration Pad: Facilitates quick and easy entry of Direct restorations, Inlays/Onlays, Sealants and Temporary restorations. The Procedure Pad: For the entry of all remaining dental procedures. Initially, this pad is set up for the general dentist, however, it may easily be customized. This is particularly useful for specialists.
This key pad is fully editable in the following ways:
- Names of Keys
- Key Content ( dental codes contained in each key )
- Number of Keys ( any keys may be omitted )
This allows for the deletion of any code or category which is not needed, as well as
regrouping them into any type of configuration.
Often used codes from a wide variety of categories (such as X-rays, denture adjustments and recements) may be easily combined into the Misc key. Our Multi-Code feature enables the clinician to pre-organize groups of codes which are routinely entered, together under one multi-code.
An example would be the following visit:
initial patient visit / adult prophy / exam / 4 BWX / 6 P.A.s
Multi-codes eliminate the redundant entry of all of these codes separately, as they will all be entered in one stroke of the stylus. This feature is especially useful for specialist and general Other Features / Advantages Multiple Treatment Planning- Clinicians may now create multiple treatment plans with unparalleled speed and ease. Our Clone feature effectively eliminates redundant entry of procedures which are common to multiple treatment plans.
Checkpoint Feature - Saves and archives dentition images, restoration images and handwritten notations from the treatment window, pathologies / abnormalities window and the periodontal window. This serves as an invaluable tool in the documentation of tooth eruption / attrition, occurring pathologies, and monitoring of periodontal status. All are automatically time stamped and archived into their respective categories. Patient Waiting Notifier - Allows front desk personnel to easily notify the clinic of waiting patients via an audible signal and a flashing title bar on the programs interface. Patient Callback Feature - automatically reminds staff members to call back patients, doctors etc.
Insurance Approval Feature- shows the status of planned treatment requiring insurance approval. The Comment feature - a valuable post-it type tool which facilitates written communication between front desk and clinical personnel. Vital information such as procedures which are not covered by that patients insurance, as well as next visit instructions may be easily and confidentially conveyed. The message is then immediately seen upon the opening of the patients record.
Training / Ease of Use - Beta test results thus far have show an average of 2 days to full proficiency with MedServices Software E.P.R.. This is even more impressive when considering that no formal training was given to these users. Our instructional manual was designed exclusively by Dr. De Rosso. It is extremely easy to understand and walks the user through each and every step using screenshots, and call out boxes.
Additionally, the user is provided with a series of demo film loops, which are mini-movies, which include narration as well as text directions. Each and every process and feature is demonstrated in a simple and clear manner. Part of our development process was to show these instructional aids to non-dentists. After little time, they were able to perform many of the processes in DataNet Dental Software which dentists and their staff will be executing on a daily basis.
