Q1 - What software does DSI have available for Medical Clinics?

DataNet has 3 primary medical software products. 1) MedServices STAT EHR & PM is a fully certified EHR designed to meet meaningful use. 2) MedServices PAP is a Patient Assistance Program software for managing the pharmaceutical companies free medication programs. 3) MedServices Central EMR is a complete electronic medical records for the non-profit clinics.


Q2 - Does your software run on a network or through the Internet?

MedServices STAT and MedServices PAP (patient assistance program) are web based EHR and PM software. Any device with internet can utilize this software (pc, Mac, iPad etc.). MedServices Central EMR is a client server application that can run locally on PC or DataNet can host in a secure environment.


Q3 - Is there a limit on how many users can access MedServices?

MedServices STAT EHR is based on FTE providers. (unlimited users). MedServices Central is based on user licenses. You can purchase licenses as they are needed.


Q4 - What reports come with MedServices Central?

MedServices Central comes with standard reports. Reports differ with each clinic's needs so we have included a report writer for you to create your own reports which are then saved for future use. If we capture the data, you can report on it.

Q7 - What are the hardware requirements to run MedServices?

For MedServices STAT - all you need is a computer with a browser (Windows, Mac, iPad)
For MedServices Central - We recommend a Windows 2003 server or later, XP Pro, minimum 2g RAM and 400mg Hard Disk space. The higher the better. Any PC purchased today should be more than sufficient to run MedServices EMR. Microsoft SQL Server is not required but can be used if you already have it. Otherwise, MedServices comes with Microsoft SQL Server Express edition at no additional charge.
